Green Logistics
For many companies, logistics is not a core business function. However, managing it excellently is one of the most important factors influencing a company’s service image. Green values are also an increasingly important part of corporate values and have a growing impact on company image and reputation.
Green logistics means planning and implementing logistics operations in a way that minimizes their environmental impact. It is part of a broader sustainability mindset within the logistics industry.
We operate in accordance with the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB 2015).
Efficient route planning and minimizing empty space and kilometers / full transport loads reduce fuel consumption and emissions per individual product.
Reducing the use of fossil fuels, transitioning to renewable fuels, and selecting the appropriate mode and means of transport have a significant impact on total transport emissions. For example, sea freight is considerably more environmentally friendly than air freight.
Green values guide us during this period of transition toward more sustainable logistics solutions. We can offer greener alternatives for many transport needs, and we also calculate CO₂ emissions on a shipment-by-shipment basis.
Our goal is to create new, greener transport chains through innovative solutions. We help our customers choose the most suitable transport modes and reduce their carbon footprint. Together, we can contribute to a cleaner future.
